While relocating for business with my family in the Southwest United States, England, and Korea, we bought and sold properties and I found the process intriguing. Each time, I made sure to learn more within the transactions and eventually decided to make it my profession. I entered when interest rates were commonly 17-18% and the real estate market had made a severe downturn. Commissions had come easily to agents in earlier years. To support myself and family required a creative and persistent work ethic which has served me well over time.

Initially licensed with a company that eventually became ProStar, I had a unique opportunity to learn commercial real estate. At that time, there were extremely few female agents that resonated within the commercial market area. I found that often an asset as I could relay information to clients without making it a challenge of wills or knowledge. I observed many knowledgeable agents turn these conversations into a personal affront, as if their expertise was challenged. I approached those similar situations that come with any business transaction as a problem solving opportunity. At first, advisors told us to dress more like men and especially not wear pretty dresses. All that changed over time and viable commercial female agents are accepted as professionals and most agencies contain a high percentage of female agents.

Over many decades, I was an associate broker within several well recognized local, national, and international exclusively commercial real estate firms. I associated with a commercial developer to open a woman owned commercial real estate firm. Over time I have earned the knowledge and experience to equal my skills with the best in the business.

I am now working within the company I started with enjoying the benefits of long association and trust.
