In 2009 my dad passed away, my mom being fearful of living there left me their home in sun city az. I had called a different realtor to rent the property for me but they were not willing to work with me on a personal note. And 2 of our kids ended up coming out there with us and Steve offered to help us find an apartment for them. What else can I say great great guy and awesome staff. Jeremy and I are very happy in our new HUD home. We were able to get a great home at a great price. It took us a few months but we were able to close and now we are happily living in our own home. We searched for a while trying to find a home we could afford. Jeremy is a teacher and we tried a couple of times for HUD Good Neighbor homes but we didn’t get them. Finally we decided to look at regular HUD home listings and found the house we eventually bought. Through much patience, NACA financing, and a great agent Steve Mckamey we closed. If asked about HUD homes I would tell people to look at HUD homes, they take work to get but they can really be worth it.

On the surface, selling a home sounds simple I.e. set a price, run an ad, cash a check. The reality is far more complicated and I would have gone nuts without the guidance from Steve and his staff. Steve knew the value of the property, so set the price at high end of market. When appraiser said price was too high, Steve produced comps and discussed with appraiser, helping appraiser change his mind. Also, when inspector came, his list of repairs could have rebuilt the home. Steve again worked major compromises to keep repairs logical. Not only that, Steve has work crews to handle roofing, plumbing, electric, and clean up. Bottom line: I got asking price, kept my sanity, and buyer got a great property
